This application offers amateur astronomers in North America a portable solution for accessing detailed sky condition forecasts via the Clear Sky Charts (CSC). The web-based CSC provides a comprehensive 48-hour color-coded forecast chart that covers cloud cover, transparency, seeing, and other crucial observational factors. The database incorporated into this app includes over 6,000 forecast locations across Canada, the United States, and Mexico, with periodic updates ensuring current information.

The launch screen displays up to five chosen observing sites. Each square on the interface signifies a one-hour forecast period, with colors ranging from dark blue—indicating optimal observing conditions—to white, denoting poor conditions. A red line marks local midnight, accompanied by a timestamp showing the last update. Users can tap any forecast preview to access a menu with several options: viewing a more detailed chart with an interpretive legend, locating the site on a map, opening the CSC webpage for additional information, selecting different locations for monitoring, removing unnecessary charts, or sharing forecasts via email, messaging, or social media platforms.

Additionally, Location Services facilitate discovering nearby CSC locations when traveling, enhancing flexibility for observers on the move.
